James “Jiffy” Dukes is a life long resident of Rusk County and is currently serving as the Board Commissioner for Precinct 4. Mr. Dukes is retired as a Captain of Criminal Investigative Division of the Henderson Police Department. He is married to Tina Bryan Dukes and has three children and five grandchildren. He has served on the Board since 2017 and is also a member and Assistant Chief of the Laneville VFD. He serves as the Assistant Treasurer on the Board and is also a State Certified ESD Board Commissioner.
