David Burks is a life long resident of Rusk County and is currently serving as the Board Commissioner for Precinct 2. David and his wife, Dina, have 6 children, eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. He serves as Maintenance Director of the West Rusk ISD. David spent over 30 years as a Boy Scout Master and as an Eagle Scout. He has served on the ESD Board since 2012 and is currently the Board President. He is also a State Certified ESD Board Commissioner.
